This week's adventures...
.... included the Great American Fundraiser kickoff, the NED Show Assembly (followed by yo yo purchases and excitement) and another great week of faith filled academic excellence!
Our first fundraiser of the school year was launched by Kevin Donnelly from Great American, offering our families' first opportunity to reduce their $300 fundraising obligation. Please take advantage of this opportunity to sell with the goal of reducing your family obligation to our school.
On Wednesday, we welcomed the NED Show to our school for a positive message laced with laughter! Meghan, the NED Show host spoke in a kid friendly and uplifting way about the main components of NED:
N
ever Give Up,
E
ncourage Others and
D
o Your Best! The pay it forward approach to hosting this assembly has brought some old fashioned "yo yo fun" to the building! Thank you for your generosity and support.
One week from today we will be SUPER excited for several reasons!
1-
In order to generate excitement for
FFN6
(Family Fun Night 6), students will be permitted to wear a super hero shirt and comfortable shorts or pants to school to school next Friday the 29th!
2-
Dismissal will be at 11:30am, due to a Teacher Professional Day. Hot lunch and extended care will be available for your convenience.
3- Family Fun Night 6 will begin at 6:00pm, and our school family will enjoy an evening of fun, games, prizes, hot dogs and so much more! Looking forward to a SUPER (hero) time!
Immediately following FFN6, we will be turning our calendars to October, with many more things to look forward to!
Happy autumn, have a wonderful weekend and God bless!
