Please join us for a NYC screening of our 1st documentary-drama!

Please join us for a screening of the story of First Green Bank, founded by a seasoned banker with a passion for the environment, who, after reading Patagonia Founder Yvon Chouinard's book Let My People Go Surfing, was inspired to  found Florida's first "green" bank in a conservative community outside Orlando.

Follow CEO Ken LaRoe's story of challenge and drama as it unfolds in our documentary, "A Year in the Life of First Green Bank," at this free event. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Patagonia Chief Storyteller Vincent Stanley, former Wall Street Banker & Capital Institute founder John Fullerton, and Amalgamated Bank VP of Business Development Amir Kirkwood. Join us for a behind-the-scenes look as Ken shares his struggles to put into practice his values-based mission for the bank, and as he faces investor pressures and the desires of his employees to participate in a truly collaborative work environment. You will meet mentors who encourage Ken and his staff to embrace a deeply regenerative business model. We promise there will be much to ponder for all of us who seek to transform our economy into a more just and sustainable one.

After the screening and Q&A, guests will be welcome to keep the conversation going over appetizers, beer, and wine with others seeking a truly holistic-values-based alternative to our current financial system.
