Before and After: Kitchen, Living Transformations
This home was one of our favorite transformations because it's the first home of Frank and Stephanie's daughter, Bre, and son-in-law, Dan. After three years in Houston, TX they moved back to Rochester to be closer to family, and that's when the house hunt began.
After months of searching, they fell in love with a charming colonial situated just outside the village of Fairport, NY. When they first toured, they were drawn in by the hardwoods that lined all of the rooms, as well as the natural light let in by the many windows. However, there was some updating needed in the kitchen and cosmetic work throughout the rest of the house. Even still, Bre and Dan continued to see the vision despite the dated cabinets and bleak colored walls and decided this was the house they would soon call home!
See how they re-designied the kitchen, opening it up to improve workspace, updated cabinetry, appliances, and more. They also improved the flow from kitchen to fireplace room and family room, creating an open concept that's perfect for entertaining.
The transformation didn't stop there! Each room on the first floor was improved to accomodate their lifestyle.
