AVIDYNE CORP. announced it has received EASA approval of the DFC90 and DFC100 digital autopilots for installation in European-registered Piper PA-46 Matrix and Mirage aircraft. Avidyne also received EASA approval for the new DFC90 Release 2 software upgrade.
The Commemorative Air Force B-29/B-24 Squadron is proud to announce that the world's only flyable Boeing B-29 Superfortress "FIFI" is going to visit Florida during the month of March. While in Florida "FIFI" will be visiting, Gainesville, Daytona, Titusville, Ft. Lauderdale, Punta Gorda, Lakeland and Tallahassee.
CONSTANT AVIATION LLC announced the expanded capabilities within its composite and accessory facility to offer an industry first complete Beechjet Thrust Reverser program. Capabilities will include full repair and overhaul along with free loaners and a complete exchange program with no over and above charges.
THE FLIGHTSTAR CORP. announced it has been named a factory authorized line maintenance facility for the Bombardier Learjet 40 and 45 series of aircraft. Flightstar joins a network of more than 50 Bombardier service facilities in 21 countries, consisting of factory authorized service facilities and line maintenance facilities catering to the service needs of Bombardier business aircraft.
PACIFIC SOUTHWEST INSTRUMENTS celebrated 30 years of serving aviation professionals worldwide. WESTERN AIRCRAFT announced that Idaho Gov. Butch Otter has signed bill H.417, which exempts sales tax on aircraft parts installed on out-of-state aircraft. Because of the emergency clause included in this legislation, this bill becomes law immediately. |

The Alliance for Aviation Across America recently launched a wide-scale economic impact survey to outline the benefit of general aviation on businesses, local economies and communities around the nation. AEA Wired will highlight a different state each issue:

Senators Tell White House to Ax User Fees Proposal

FAA Announces Aerospace Forecast for Next Two Decades
The Federal Aviation Administration recently published an aerospace forecast for fiscal years 2012-2032. According to the report, the demand for general aviation products and services will continue to grow, particularly in new business jets and light sport aircraft.
The report also noted that the active general aviation fleet is projected to increase at an average annual rate of 0.6 percent over the 21-year forecast period. The forecast said that the more expensive and sophisticated turbine-powered fleet (including rotorcraft) is projected to grow at an average of 2.9 percent a year over the forecast period, with the turbine jet portion increasing at 4.0 percent a year.

CASA Releases the Upgraded Advisory Circular AC 21-45(1) for ADS-B
