Comments Due Monday, November 19 on FAA's Significant and Potentially Damaging Part 145 Rewrite
The Aircraft Electronics Association is speaking out against the Federal Aviation Administration's notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) for Part 145 repair stations. To read the repair station NPRM, click here.

A section-by-section analysis is available to AEA member companies at www.aea.net/part145 to assist them in developing comments to this proposal. To learn more about the AEA's concerns on this urgent matter, click here.

"Today, we are embroiled in a critical regulatory issue (FAA's Part 145 NPRM)... At first glance, the AEA's associate members, made up of manufacturers and distributors, might look at the regulatory updates and quickly conclude the NPRM only impacts repair stations and not the associate members. However, I can assure you that doing so is a very bad assumption."
