AEROFRAME AIREPAIRS of Memphis Tenn., has recently signed a licensing agreement with HONEYWELL for the Honeywell Grimes products. This license includes lighting products, annunciator panels, windshield wiper components and more for commercial, general aviation, corporate and military platforms.
ASTRONICS CORP. announced it has acquired privately-held Ballard Technology Inc., an Everett, Wash., company that designs and produces avionics interface solutions for defense and commercial aerospace applications.
GARMIN announced it has received the European Aviation Safety Agency's validation of the U.S. STC for the GTN 650 and GTN 750 series touchscreen avionics. With this validation, these avionics are certified and approved for installation in hundreds of makes and models of European-registered general aviation aircraft.
After a successful collaboration with the Brevard County Commission and the Titusville City Council, PROFESSIONAL AIRCRAFT ACCESSORIES, a Greenwich AeroGroup Co., recently broke ground on a 20,000-square-foot expansion that solidifies the company's commitment to Titusville and aviation jobs in Brevard County.

The Alliance for Aviation Across America recently launched a wide-scale economic impact survey to outline the benefit of general aviation on businesses, local economies and communities around the nation. AEA Wired will highlight a different state each issue:
