If you have a prayer request, please email [email protected].

Dear Holy Rosary School Families,

Family traditions are so important. I love the way they bring family members together and give us shared memories to cherish. At Holy Rosary, our traditions do the same for our school community. Harvest Faire is a treasured tradition where current school families, alumni, and parishioners meet to share food, fun, and community, and I look forward to it every year. I hope that many of you can join us this weekend and share in the wonderful sense of community that is always present at Harvest Faire.

It was great to see our 8th grade class grow closer together as they received their Class of 2018 sweatshirts this week. This is a rite of passage for our 8th grade students. The sweatshirts symbolize the culmination of their years here at Holy Rosary School. It was wonderful to see their smiling faces as they proudly wore their Class of 2018 sweatshirts into school this week.

4th Sunday Mass  gives us an opportunity to pray together and share our Catholic Faith as a school and parish community.  The second collection at the 4th Sunday Mass is designated for Holy Rosary School. This second collection is important as it supports our families who want to provide a Catholic education for their children. This opportunity to support Catholic Education is a wonderful part of our 4th Sunday tradition.

Please pray for our Holy Rosary families that may be in need of support due to health issues or other challenges.  Pray also for the communities who have been affected by recent earthquakes and hurricanes, that they might feel the presence of God and the support of our prayers with them.

As we end our school week, we invite you to come and be part of our Holy Rosary traditions. Please join us for 8 a.m. mass tomorrow morning, and Harvest Faire and 4th Sunday Mass this weekend. We would love to see you there!

A Message from Fr. Roberto

Does God Punish Us? No!
During the time of Jesus, it was a common belief that anyone who was poor, disabled or suffering in any way was experiencing God's punishment for a sin they, someone in their family, or some ancestor had committed. So we read in the Gospel of John: "As he passed by he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, 'Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?' Jesus answered, 'Neither he nor his parents sinned; it is so that the works of God might be made visible through him'" (John 9: 1-3). Thus, Jesus is saying that God not only does not punish people for sins they committed, but that God can use whatever difficult situation we experience to bring goodness from it.

Un Mensaje de Padre Roberto

¿Nos Castiga Dios? ¡No!
