Dear MCS Parents -

We are thrilled to invite you to our first LEGACY MORNING of the 2017-18 school year. This event is for MCS parents and their guests and will be held on Thursday, October 12th, from 8:00-9:30 a.m. at MCS.

We are incredibly blessed to have Dr. Kelly Flanagan coming to speak to our community. He is a therapist, blogger, speaker and author of the book "Loveable" and has been featured in  The Huffington Post, The Reader's Digest, and  babble, as well as having been featured on the  The Today Show. Dr. Flanagan has an uncanny knack for weaving humor, phenomenal story-telling, and nuggets of wisdom into his conversations that infuse courage, inspiration, and direction into his audience. In addition to hearing from Dr. Flanagan, we will have a time of Q&A with him that will be facilitated by an MCS alumni parent. 

Legacy events are a part of our Parent Enrichment/Education offerings. These are mornings that serve to intentionally help us pause and reflect and evaluate how we are building our legacy as parents and as families. We lean heavily on experience from speakers who are either one step ahead of us in parenting, or who are able to share from a perspective that provides wisdom, inspiration and insight.

FIRST BOOK STUDY OF THE YEAR LAUNCH: OCTOBER 18th

I am also thrilled to announce that we will be launching our first Book Study of the year with Dr. Flanagan's book, "Loveable" on Wednesday, October 18th. 

We will meet on the following Wednesdays: 10/18, 10/25, 11/8, 11/15 from 9:00 am - 10:30 am in the MPR. You may order your copy of "Loveable" from Amazon at this link, or purchase a signed copy at the Legacy Morning on 10/12. We will explore topics of grace, worth, belonging, and how to disconnect from distractions and demands of daily life so that we can hear God's voice.
