Celebrating the release of his photo-book #NHVdrag- there will be pop-up drag performances on Saturday and Sunday @ 1, 3, 5pm. Performers will create an immersive experience in a stage-less environment where performer and audience exist on the same field intermingling.

TREE DEDICATION IN MEMORY OF CHRIS ENGSTROM
Chris Engstrom joined Westville's ARLoW artist live/work spaces in 2004 after graduating from Yale. It was in 2012 that he received a diagnosis of ALS and moved from New Haven to his family home in Eastham, MA-bittersweet because he missed his New Haven community but he was now back in his familiar Cape Cod landscape. Chris received his BFA from Cooper Union and his MFA from Yale. He was an art handler at Yale Gallery of Art. He taught at Creative Arts Workshop, Cooperative Arts and Humanities High School, Hamden Hall and he was an outdoor educator at Two Coyotes Wilderness School. Up until his death in May 2017, Chris was working on his book, The Boy with the Big Blank Canvas, the story of a boy who wanted to fill his canvas with the wonder and beauty of nature. Chris held a special place in the hearts of many and will be sorely missed. We hope this tree will help ease the pain for those who knew him and inspire those who did not.

A looped audio, movement, and a slide show to bring awareness of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the mistreatment of children, accused of witchcraft, who are driven into the streets to fend for themselves.

Celebrating their eighth year of Southern Connecticut State University's Master of Fine Arts Program in Creative Writing with readings of fiction, poetry, and memoir, followed by an open mic for the audience.
