On Top of Your Game:  Payment Reform is Coming, and Preparation Will Be Key

Oct. 25, 1:30 - 2:30 p.m.

Speaker:
Hilary Forman, SVP of clinical strategies, HealthPro Rehabilitation, Hunt Valley, MD
CEUs: 1 hour of NAB and CPA credit
Target Audience: CEOs, Administrators, CFOs of nursing facilities
Summary: CMS will soon refine our reimbursement system, and the final version of this comprehensive overhaul will require PAC providers to be on top of their game. This total transformation of payment methodology may appear - at first glance - to be simple, but the complexity lies in PAC providers' ability to (1) implement new systems to accommodate the changes, (2) ensure strategic alignment with referral sources, health systems, affiliated networks, etc. By anticipating the changes moving across the continuum, PAC providers will lock in on a game plan that will ensure success no matter how this next CMS mandate plays out.
