Weekly Letter from Principal Joe Hansen
This Sunday evening signifies the beginning of Homecoming Week 2017. It is a time for our current students to show their school spirit and get a little crazy. It is also a time when we welcome back our alumni. Our Homecoming theme is “There’s No Place Like Homecoming” and will be built around the classic movie This Wizard of Oz . The week culminates with our football game against Cincinnati Winton Woods at the University of Indianapolis on Friday night.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: School Messenger "Opt-in"
Parents of freshman and other students new to Bishop Chatard, please "opt-in" to our School Messenger system so that you will be able to receive urgent notifications from BCHS on your mobile phone. This would include notification of weather-related delays or cancellations, or any other time-sensitive situation that the school needed to communicate to you via mobile phone or text. To register your number, text "Y" (for "yes") to 67587. You should receive a response that says you are registered. 

Parents who have changed their mobile phone number in the last year must also complete the opt-in process to receive mobile calls and texts. If your family is not new to Bishop Chatard this year and you have not changed your mobile phone number, no action is required at this time.

Golf Outing

A few spots have become available to play in the 2017 BCHS golf outing! The golf outing kicks off Trojan Homecoming Weekend on Friday, Sept. 29, at Highland Country Club. RSVP now and join us!

Participation and sponsorship proceeds from the event support tuition assistance through the Harv Sutton Fund.

Thank you to all those who attended the Bishop Chatard Annual Fund and Achievement Award Dinner last night and helped us raise $ 617,340 to support Bishop Chatard!

Prayer book featuring St. Joan of Arc now available
This prayer book, published by Jean Zander and BCHS cafeteria manager, Brenda Henry, highlights the art and environment of St. Joan of Arc Church in Indianapolis. Proceeds go to the SJOA Centennial Campaign for the Restoration of the church. The prayer book is $25. Copies can be purchased from Brenda in the cafeteria (cash, check, or credit) or at St. Joan of Arc.

Blue Crew Opportunities
Blue Crew is a "work study" opportunity for parents, worth $15/hour in tuition credit. This is a great way to help out BCHS and meet other parents! We really appreciate the help and support of BCHS.

Current and incoming parents and alumni are invited to join the BCHS Athletic Booster Club! Join now to receive your all-season pass and membership gift. Season passes are good for all non-tournament home athletic contests. As a member, you will receive a thank you listing in three seasonal athletic programs as well as on the BCHS Booster Club page. All memberships receive periodic specials and Booster Club email updates!

Attention St. Joan of Arc Alumni
