Three-time Latin Grammy nominee Berta Rojas brings her flawless technique and innate musicality to the stage in the intimate John and Dede Howard Recital Hall. She's been praised by the Washington Post as an "guitarist extraordinaire," and has brought her talents to performances worldwide.

Visceral Dance Chicago

The 2017-18 Great Performances Series begins with Visceral Dance Chicago, a contemporary company dedicated to bold movement. The company has developed a diverse and respected repertoire, and has been hailed as "one of the best groups of artists in Chicago" by Chicago Stage Standards.

The Knickerbocker Fall Film Series continues with Past Life, a film that follows the odyssey of two sisters as they unravel a shocking wartime mystery that has cast a dark shadow on their entire lives, from September 18-23. The series continues with Trip to Spain from October 9-14, and finishes off with The Unknown Girl from November 6-11.

The Grammy-nominated musical collective of Michael and Lisa Gungor, known simply as Gungor, uses their music to tell honest and forthright stories, some personal, and some allegorical. They'll perform many titles from their album trilogy "One Wild Life."

Pablo Mahave-Veglia,cello and viola, and Gregory Crowell, harpsichordist, clavichordist, and organist, return to the Free @ 3 Concert Series. They are  outstanding performers that teach at Grand Valley State University and Crowell plays at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Grand Rapids.
