October Giving Items

 Ad Council will meet Monday, September 25th at 7:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary.

 Please join us Sunday, September 24th after the 8:00 and 9:15 services for fellowship and refreshments as we celebrate Pastor Craig's last Sunday
with us.

Open House for Pastor Craig
 Please plan to attend an Open House for Pastor Craig's retirement on Friday evening, September 29th. A catered meal is being provided with BBQ pulled pork sandwiches and salads. The Open House will run from 5:00 to 8:00 with the meal served from 5:00 to 7:00. The
location of this Open House is at the Hughes Horse Barn,
6004 76th Ave SW, Fairfax. (2 miles west of Edgewood Road on 76th Ave)

Notes of Gratitude

Missing Pie Containers
 Anyone who purchased a pie during the auction at the Lord's Acre Sale that came with a non-disposal pan (one tupperware and one metal), is asked to return the pans. They were not meant to be part of the pie purchase. There return would be very much appreciated. |

 Anyone wishing to provide refreshments or assist with fellowship on Sunday,
October 1st, would be greatly appreciated. Please contact

Exit X Pizza Ranch Fundraiser
 On October 4th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. we will have another Exit 10, SUMC Junior and Senior High youth ministry, fundraiser at Pizza Ranch in North Liberty. We are given 15% of all the proceeds Pizza Ranch brings in from people who present a ticket that will be available to pick up at the church within the next week. The youth will be at this event clearing tables and refilling glasses and we will have tip buckets available. 100% of tips will go directly to the mission trip! Thank you again for your continued support of Exit 10!

Coordinating Our Building Use
Are you needing a place at the church for a committee meeting or event? Please note that ALL scheduling of the building's use must be cleared and scheduled through Julie in the church office. This is not a "permission" issue, but we do need this central location for keeping track of the building's activities (we are thankful to be able to host a growing number of Boy and Girl Scouts this year!). Just
drop an email or phone the office (848-7213), so there are no surprises. Thank you!
