Deacon Nominations

Nominations for deacons are currently being received now through September 30. From these nominations, you will select 12 men to serve a three-year term. Each member of First Baptist Church is eligible to nominate up to 12 men. You can pick up nomination forms at Guest services or in the church office. 
Flowers

The flowers in the foyer are placed to the glory of God and in loving memory of Ed Kelly, whose birthday is September 27. They are given by his family. 
Disaster Relief Trip 
We are working to plan a disaster relief mission trip to Florida to help victims of Hurricane Irma. The trip will be during the month of October. Details are being finalized now. If you are interested in going or in finding our more information, please contact Gary Milton at [email protected]. 
Hurricane Shelter
If you would like to help offset the cost FBC incurred by providing the shelter during Hurricane Irma, you can make a financial contribution to FBC. Please designate on an envelope or check that the gift is for hurricane shelter costs. 100% of the money given will go to cover the cost of the shelter. 
Young at Heart
The Young at Heart Luncheon on Tuesday, September 26, will honor FBC's oldest member, Mrs. Emma Jean Crocker, as she celebrates her 100th birthday. Join us as we pay tribute to a wonderful lady on a milestone birthday, and hear the lessons of life and faith she has experienced in a century of living. The luncheon begins at noon in the Fellowship Hall. The cost is $5.
