Giving Tuesday is a global event that's celebrated on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.  With that in mind, we invite you to donate to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library on November 29th so that we can continue to focus on advancing Childhood Literacy.

In collaboration with Dolphin Entertainment and the Oprah Winfrey Network, United Way presents The Hero Effect, an uplifting docu-series that puts a spotlight on stories of ordinary individuals who are making extraordinary differences in their communities.

Do you want to learn a new skill and help people at the same time?  Valley VITA is seeking volunteer tax preparers!  Prior experience is not required, and you are guaranteed to help local individuals and families keep more of the money they have earned.

  American Education Week is November 14-18. We encourage everyone to celebrate public education and especially those who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education.
