UNIVERSITY PROHIBITS CONFEDERATE COSTUMES
One Ontario university has already laid down the law on what costumes will be "prohibited" at the campus Halloween party this year.
Brock University's list includes ankle-length robes worn by Arab men, makeup depicting Japanese geishas,
costumes that depict Caitlyn Jenner, and anything with the Confederate flag on it.
According to the school's "costume protocol" developed by the student union, traditional or religious headdresses such as feathered bonnets and turbans, are also off limits.
"If a member of your party is denied entry because of their costume, they will be escorted to a space where they can change or remove the offending item," students have been told.
Brock's list of political correctness is just the latest in a trend that's picking up across North America. The University of Florida recently issued a memo reminding students they can submit a "bias incident report" and seek counselling if they encounter an offensive costume.
Court Delay Stalls Removal of Monuments
To follow-up on a previous story, regarding the hearing held on Sept. 28, when the Monument Task Committee and the City of New Orleans argued over who owns the property and whether or not the City Council has the right to take them down.
The court of appeals has not made a decision for or against the removal of the statues yet, but the judges are reviewing the arguments made by both sides during the hearing. Until an official decision is made, the City of New Orleans can do nothing but wait.
TENNESSEE COMMISSION VOTES TO SAVE STATUE
The Tennessee Historical Commission has rejected a move by the Memphis City Council to relocate a statue of General Nathan Bedford Forrest from a park near downtown Memphis.
The application for the move was submitted in reaction to the Tennessee Heritage Protection Act of 2013, which prevents cities or counties from relocating, removing, renaming, or otherwise disturbing war memorials on public properties.
The Tennessee Historical Commission on Friday denied the application for waiver based on criteria adopted by the commission in October 2015.
The statue, which depicts the former general astride his horse King Phillip, is currently located in Health Sciences Park near downtown Memphis.
The statue was dedicated to the city of Memphis in 1905 and erected as an "enduring monument" to Forrest.
According to Max Fleischer, legal representative for the commission, the board had the opportunity to vote to change the criteria Friday but no motion was made to do so. "The commission had already adopted criteria, and if the application did not meet the criteria it would be denied," Fleischer said.
In August 2015, the Memphis City Council voted to remove the statue, along with the remains of Forrest and his wife, from the park. The commission considered only the fate of the statue on Friday. Family approval and court approval would be needed to relocate the remains of Forrest and his wife.
The city is expected to submit another application for waiver for consideration, but the criteria has not changed.
MISSISSIPPI CEMETERY REMOVES FLAGS
A new policy governing Confederate Battle Flags at the Natchez City Cemetery is drawing scrutiny.

he cemetery association's President Cyndy Stevens tells The Natchez Democrat that descendants of Confederate veterans can only place a small Confederate flag on their ancestors' graves on Confederate Memorial Day in April and Memorial Day.
Organizations can also place flags on the graves of Confederate veterans buried in two Confederate burial plots. They can no longer place flags on graves of individuals in private family plots.
Stevens says they received complaints that Confederate flags were up against families' wishes.
HILLARY DISRUPTERS TO DISPLACE CONFEDERATE PARADE
For the first time in at least 15 years, a parade through downtown Lexington, Virginia that features Confederate Flags and a celebration of Lee-Jackson Day will be marching to a different beat.
An "anti-racism" group has obtained a parade permit for Jan. 14 - taking the date and route that traditionally has been claimed by a local Sons of Confederate Veterans camp.
Since the turn of the century, the Stonewall Brigade Camp of the Sons of Confederate Veterans has been granted a permit for its Lee-Jackson parade on that day, usually after filing an application several months in advance. In a deliberate effort to be first in line, Hillary's CARE organization sought a permit last spring.
"I think it was kind of underhanded the way they slipped it in like that," said W.B. "Doc" Wilmore, a Sons of Confederate Veterans officer who usually handles bookings for the group's Lee-Jackson Day events.
Wilmore said Wednesday that he has yet to submit an application for next year's parade. The group now plans to hold its Lee-Jackson parade on the following Saturday, Jan. 21, he said.
While a format for the new parade is still under consideration, it will honor Martin Luther King Jr. and "the spirt of peace, anti-racism and full inclusion" that the civil rights leader championed.
But what if members of a Confederate group showed up to join the parade, as some suggested at last week's City Council meeting?
"We're not out to exclude individuals," CARE's chairperson said. "But I can't see us welcoming Confederate flags or symbols or slogans that would be a symbol of hate, really."
But this seems to be the new par for Lexington's course.
In a city where Southern heroes Robert E. Lee and Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson once lived, and where the two generals are interred, Wilmore said he was "perturbed" by a movement that seems set on stigmatizing any effort to honor the Confederate heritage of the city and those with ancestors who fought for the South.
"The politically correct people are taking over Lexington," Wilmore said. "It's ridiculous. It really is."
In 2011, after hearing complaints about Confederate flags being flown from street light poles on Lee-Jackson Day, the city council passed an ordinance that allowed only the U.S., Virginia and city flags to be hung from the government-owned fixtures.
A lawsuit by the Sons of Confederate Veterans challenging the law on free-speech grounds was unsuccessful.
Then, the local university that bears Lee's name decided to remove Confederate flags from the chapel where he is buried. And when that decision prompted response from heritage groups, the SCV was denied use of the chapel for last year's Lee-Jackson celebrations.
When it comes to parades, however, decisions by the City Council are content-neutral, City Attorney Larry Mann said.
"A parade is a classic example of First Amendment rights," Mann said. "There's not much the city can say about what people might carry."
Now, it seems that people will be carrying rainbow flags of Sodomy and the Southern Cross of the Confederacy - depending on which January weekend it happens to be in Lexington.
Confederate Flags Banned at Indiana Bloomington School After Students Wear Them as Capes
The principal at Bloomington North High School sent out a letter on Wednesday announcing a ban on confederate flags at school after several students were wearing the flags as a cape.
Students met with administrators with their concerns about the students wearing the flags at school and the principal issued a letter to district parents on Wednesday, banning confederate flags at school.
The leader of a student group that advocates for LGBTQ rights and safety said it was a special moment for them today, when administrators issued the ban.
IN RACINE, WISCONSIN ITS OK FOR BLACK MEN TO ASSAULT OLD WHITE LADIES WHO DISPLAY BATTLE FLAGS BUT ITS NOT OK TO SMART OFF TO THE COP
Tajuan Boatner assaulted one of his neighbors because she displayed a Confederate Battle Flag in her home's window. On Thursday, October 20th, Tajuan Boatner pleaded guilty to a charge of obstructing an officer - but the four other charges in the case were dismissed.
This case got its start in August 2015. According to the criminal complaint, Racine police were called the area of 13th and Center around 5:47 p.m. on August 7th after receiving a call about a woman being assaulted.
When officers arrived on scene, they spoke with the victim, who reported that Tajaun Boatner confronted her at her home and violently attacked her.
According to the complaint, the victim told police she was on her porch when Boatner confronted her regarding a Confederate flag hanging in her kitchen window. The victim stated that Boatner asked her to take the flag out of her window and she did so, moving it into the bathroom window. The victim claims this upset Boatner and both parties began yelling at each other. This argument was escalated by Batner who attacked the woman, pushing her down the stairs of her porch.
Shortly after police arrived on scene, they located Boatner walking down the street nearby. When police stopped Boatner, he became "extremely argumentative" with the officers, according to the complaint.
The complaint says "due to the initial complaint of being pushed down by Boatner, along with Boatner's argumentative and confrontational demeanor towards the officers, the officers made a decision to detain Boatner in handcuffs." During that time, police say Boatner became "extremely loud and argumentative and refused to spread his feet so that a pat down could be conducted for weapons."
Boatner was charged with criminal trespassing, battery, disorderly conduct, misdemeanor theft and obstruction of an officer. He pleaded guilty to to obstruction of an officer - but all other charges were dismissed.
So its OK to steal break into someone's house - if you are there stealing a Battle Flag. And its OK to assault an old lady - if she is a white Confederate. But its not Ok to smart off to a cop?
Confederate Flag continues to wave at Talladega Speedway
It's not hard to find the Confederate battle flag at Talladega Superspeedway.
Before the campgrounds filled with thousands of race fans for the recent NASCAR action - the flag could be seen flying, flapping in the wind outside motorhomes and prominently displayed by nearby vendors who also stocked plenty of Confederate-themed merchandise.
Flag supporters in the Talladega campgrounds say it represents the South's heritage and culture and serves as a memorial to soldiers who died in battle.
In July 2015, NASCAR released a statement concerning the Confederate battle flag and asked fans "to refrain from displaying the Confederate Flag at our facilities and NASCAR events. We are committed to providing a welcoming atmosphere free of offensive symbols."
Visit Talladega and it's clear the Battle Flag remains near and dear for many NASCAR fans.
Larry Estes, a longtime Talladega fan from Martinsville, Virginia, said he sees the Confederate Flag prominently displayed when he attends NASCAR Sprint Cup events in Bristol (Tenn.), Martinsville (Va.) and Richmond (Va.). Talladega isn't an outlier, he said, when it comes to NASCAR fans embracing the Confederate Battle Flag.
Talladega Superspeedway has not banned the flag, although it and other tracks were listed as signatories on NASCAR's statement in July 2015.
"We understand the flag means different things to different people, so we can't say put it up and don't say put it down," Talladega Superspeedway President Grant Lynch said. "We welcome everybody at Talladega."
Lynch stressed that the track has worked for more than 20 years to increase minority attendance at the track's two NASCAR events each year. He said the number of minority fans is "not large, but has grown."
"For the majority of fans I've met, it's not a hate symbol, and they're not showing in a hateful way," Lynch said. "They see it as a sign of respect for their heritage. That's why they're flying it."
Turkey shoots planned to benefit Confederate Flag restoration
The Gen. Robert H. Hatton Camp Sons of Confederate Veterans plans to hold two benefit turkey shoots with proceeds to go toward restoration of the 7th Tennessee Infantry Regimental Flag.
The first turkey shoot will be Saturday, and the second will be Nov. 5 at the Wilson County Fairgrounds. The benefit begins at 8 a.m. and runs through 1 p.m., both days.
"We're looking forward to putting on a great turkey shoot with plenty of prizes for everyone," said Barry Forkum, commander of the Hatton Camp. "We're anticipating a good event with lots of good-natured competition. This is our third year, and we have good crowd at every event. We'll have turkeys, country hams and some big packs of thick-sliced bacon. It's really a lot of fun."
All proceeds go toward the restoration of the 7th Tennessee Infantry flag. This flag is an important artifact as six of the 10 companies that made up the regiment were from Wilson County. Members of the regiment were mustered into service in July 1861 and commanded by Lebanon's own Brig. Gen. Robert H. Hatton. The flag is currently in storage at the Tennessee State Museum.
A 1960s restoration of the flag, which encased it in rough nylon netting sewn tightly by machine, is gradually tearing the flag apart. The conservation treatment will consist of removing this netting stitch by stitch and framing the flag for display. The Gen. Robert H. Hatton Camp has committed to take the lead in raising $27,000 for the restoration of this flag.
"The 7th Tennessee flag hasn't been seen by the public in years. I know there are a lot people around here who have ancestors who fought under this very flag, and we're anxious to raise enough money to have it restored," said Forkum, "This is one of our major projects, and I hope the community will come out and support our efforts to restore this flag."
The 7th Tennessee Infantry Regiment served as part of the Tennessee Brigade, which operated as part of the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia. The 7th Tennessee had a long history of courage and determination as evidenced by its participation in every major battle in which the Army of Northern Virginia fought, including part of Pickett's charge at Gettysburg. By April 2, 1865, the entire brigade consisted of only 860 men and 87 officers. Of these, the 7th Tennessee had only 134 survivors remaining in the regiment. The 7th Tennessee would continue to fight right up until the surrender of the Army of Virginia at Appomattox.
Early Votes Switched from Trump to Hillary in Texas
Early voting for the 2016 presidential election started yesterday for people in some areas who have been given the opportunity to avoid the long lines on November 8.
However, in Amarillo, a woman was shocked to see her ballot flip from Republican to Democrat.
"Gary and I went to early vote today," wrote Lisa Houlette on Facebook. "I voted a straight Republican ticket and as I scrolled to submit my ballot I noticed that the Republican straight ticket was highlighted, however, the Clinton/Kaine box was also highlighted!"
"I tried to go back and change and could not get it to work. I asked for help from one of the workers and she couldn't get it to go back either. It took a second election person to get the machine to where I could correct the vote to a straight ticket," she added.
Meanwhile, in Arlington, Texas, another voter reported a similar experience.
"I had a family member that voted this morning and she voted straight Republican," wrote Shandy Clark. "She checked before she submitted and the vote had changed to Clinton! She reported it and made sure her vote was changed back. They commented that It had been happening."
Social media forums are also ablaze with concerns about votes being switched.
"Multiple reports on my Facebook, Periscope, Snapchat, and Twitter from my friends in Texas, and all of them had their vote switched to Clinton automatically," one post on The Donald Reddit is headlined.
The reports are alarming to say the least, especially given the fact that the media, Hillary Clinton's campaign and even President Obama himself have all attempted to dismiss Donald Trump's concerns about vote rigging as a baseless conspiracy theory.
A good person to ask about reports of vote rigging in Texas would be Texas Director of Elections Keith Ingram, but given that he ran away from our reporters - that might prove to be difficult.
The Democratic National Committee is suing the Republican Party
The Democratic National Committee on Wednesday asked a U.S. judge to hold the Republican National Committee in contempt of court over allegations that Donald Trump is encouraging his supporters to
violate a longstanding consent decree, which restricts Republicans' ability to police poling places for potential election fraud.
During the presidential campaign, Republican nominee Trump has asked followers to "watch" for fraud in the Nov.8 presidential election in certain areas "where minority voters reside, even though no evidence of fraud exists," the filing said.
"Some of Trump's followers have pledged to do just that," the filing said.
The RNC said the filing was completely meritless. "The RNC strictly abides by the consent decree and does not take part directly or indirectly in any efforts to prevent or remedy vote fraud." a RNC spokesperson said in an emailed statement. "The RNC remains focused on getting out the vote."
The DNC asked a New Jersey federal judge to issue an injunction preventing the RNC from spending money on voter integrity efforts, and to instruct its field offices that no employee shall participate in any ballot security measures.
WHY BOTH PARTIES HATE TRUMP
In a new viral video, pastor Carl Gallups explains why so many Democrats and epublicans hate Donald Trump. It's because most Republicans and Democrats agree globalism is better than nationalism.
Gallups argues the phony divide between the Republican and Democrat establishment politicians is similar to the divide between Shiite and Sunni Muslims. They have differences - but in the end, they are united against you.
"Both groups [Shiite and Sunni Muslims] are card-carrying Muslims, hard-core Islamists, and they are looking for the Middle East and the world to one day be dominated by Islam and Shariah," Gallups explains. "While they certainly have a few doctrinal differences, their biggest beef with each other is determining which of the two main groups will get to be in charge of the new Islamic world they wish to create. And so they constantly fight each other, and they constantly kill each other. However, if an infidel shows up in their midst, one who is 'not one of them,' they will join forces to fight that outsider to the death.
Why? Because there might be an outside possibility that the infidel might defeat them. And then neither of the two groups, the Shiite or the Sunni, would get to run the kingdom."
Gallups sees Republicans and Democrats operating the same way. And the political class of both parties sees presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump as an "infidel."
"They are each looking to build a 'New World Order,'" Gallups claims. "Both groups, Republicans and Democrats, routinely use that globalist terminology for their dreams of their kingdom on earth. One used to be considered a conspiracy theorist if you pointed out this fact, but not any longer. The elitist spokespeople from the Bush family to John Kerry and everyone in between, they constantly use those terms. They have spilled the beans. They are basically two sides of the same coin. They have the same religion if you will."
Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama, who has endorsed Trump, announced the 2016 election is a "clear choice" between remaining "a nation-state that serves its own people" or becoming part of a "soulless globalism that treats humans as interchangeable widgets in the world market."
And Stephen Miller, Trump's senior policy adviser, bluntly called the 2016 election a "binary choice" of the "nation-state versus globalism."
However, as Gallups explains, both Democrats and Republicans can be found who are committed to globalism.
"So what are they fighting about?" he asked rhetorically.
Gallups suggests the answer is simply their own personal power. In the end, he says, they have more in common with each other than with a self-described nationalist like Trump.
"They will fight each other, impeach each other, threaten each other, attempt to outmaneuver each other, lie to each other, and cheat each other until an outsider comes along and threatens to wipe the whole slate clean," said Gallups. "And perhaps, turn the whole slate over to we the people."
Gallups thinks Donald J. Trump is that outsider.
His video portraying Trump as an outsider, "Why the DC Establishment hates Donald Trump," garnered more than 127,000 views after being posted by Clean TV.
Gallups predicts Trump is only going to experience increased resistance from globalists within the Republican Party who see the presumptive nominee's populism as a threat to their power.
"That prospect of losing power is unthinkable to them," Gallups said. "It would snatch their dreams and their wealth right out from underneath them. In order to prevent that from happening, they will hold their noses, compromise and strike deals to let the 'other side' have the power for a while. At least until they can regroup and retake their territory."
Gallups called attention to the comments of former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, who described Trump as a man who "couldn't be controlled or manipulated." Gingrich also mysteriously explained Trump is distrusted by elites because he "doesn't belong to the secret societies."
"The bottom line is that Trump scares the elitists to death," said Gallups. "He gives the Establishment crowd sheer nightmares. He's not one of them. He's an 'infidel.' He has a different worldview. He's much more of a nationalist. They are globalist."
The rise of Trump may herald an entirely new era in American politics. As Michael Lind predicted in Politico, the future looks like "a clash between nationalists, mostly on the right, and multicultural globalists, mostly on the left."
And what terrifies globalists most about Trump, said Gallups, is they have nothing on him.
"[Trump] probably can't be bribed because he's already richer than all of them combined," Gallups explained. "He most likely can't be manipulated, blackmailed and controlled, that is if he doesn't allow himself to be."
Gallups said Trump's policy platform is also a mortal threat to the American Left as well as to globalists.
"Look at what he is promising," Gallups argued. "He says he will protect our borders, build a wall if necessary. He will stop illegal immigration and refugees. He will stop the Islamists who wish to destroy us from entering our country. He will restore America's military might and greatness. He will restore America's economic engine of greatness. He wants to return America's corporations back to the mainland. He wants to create new, good, high-paying jobs. He wants to get people off welfare and into a viable job market. He wants to respect our Constitution, heritage, and Christian heritage.
"And he wants to deal firmly with those who hate us, not genuflecting and cowering to them. Donald Trump, in other words, probably won't kiss the ring of the Saudi Arabian king."
For that reason, Gallups argues those Republicans who are willing to vote for Hillary Clinton to stop Trump aren't taking a stand for principle - they are just following their material interests and globalist views.
"Of course they would [support Hillary]!" exclaimed Gallups. Recalling the earlier metaphor of establishment Republicans and Democrats as Shiite and Sunni, Gallups said: "They all belong to the same religion. Two different denominations, but the same religion."
Gallups concludes Trump can be judged best by his enemies.
"Here is who hates Donald Trump - the Washington elite and the establishment shills," recited Gallups. "The liberal media, the socialists, the communists, the entitlement mentality crowd, the racist Black Lives Matter type groups. ISIS, Islamists, globalists, the Chinese, the Russians, the anti-Israel nations and groups, those who hate Christians, those who hate America, those who hate the
Constitution, those who want America's border open to the world."
All of these groups, suggested Gallups, have an interest in seeing America lose its sovereignty and independence, as do many supposedly "Republican" officials. The pastor maintains once you understand the existential conflict between nationalism and globalism, then "you will know at least a part of what's really going on in Washington these days."

BLACK CONFEDERATE PROUD TO BE AN "UNCLE TOM"
Today, October 27, 2016, as I made my way up Highway 9 towards the Continental Divide, carrying the Southern Cross, a car driven by a young White man with a young Black man in the passenger front seat would pull alongside me, and the young Black man would shout out; " Uncle Tom", and speed away.
I thought to myself, another example of an individual who knows nothing about history, only the programmed hate that has been inculcated into his thinking process by Northern propaganda to attack any Black who shows love to Southern Whites as the majority of the Africans did before the 12 year period of so called Reconstruction of the South.
What I learned in my annual journey to study at the Johnson Estate Library in Marion, Alabama is that I should hold my head high when called Uncle Tom. A female slave decided to run by herself to escape an abusive slave Master; she needed a lot of help. And a lot of help she did get from the trusted slave, Uncle Tom. Thanks buddy for the high honor for deeming me Uncle Tom. I wished that they had stopped and held a conversation about me and the good Uncle Tom.
Well, well, I thought as they made a U-turn, and came back with their supposed insults. Nigger, how much money they paying you to carry that flag, the young Black man asked? Hell, I bet old Jimbo down there pan handling in his peery pants gets more than he does, as they both laughed, and balled up a dollar bill and threw it at me.
I bent down, picked it up, unfolded it, put it in my pocket as they both looked dumb founded. And, thanked them, and asked God to bless them for leaving me some badly needed funds in the battle for the Southern cause.
What an irony, I thought; out of all the pictures I would be asked to pose for, all the hugs I would give, the waves I would return, the praise I would receive, and only my two detractors on this day would leave a donation that would help me to fight another day for my homeland , the Southland of America.
