We wish each of our Girl Scout families a speedy recovery as we come together to rebuild our communities following Hurricane Irma. We're overwhelmed with the generosity of people near and far, assisting those who need help the most. We are happy to say our doors are back open, and we are here to serve you and appreciate your patience as we work quickly to resume our normal work flow.
If you suffered significant damage or loss:
If you would like to help others affected by the hurricane:
  • Contact your local United Way office to find out which local agencies are accepting donations of water, non-perishable foods, diapers, and other necessities.
  • Consider supporting your fellow Girl Scouts who will need program scholarships as a result of their families' financial losses. Be sure to designate your gift for Hurricane Irma Scholarships.
We also know that the hurricane has prompted high levels of stress and anxiety for many of our children. Please read How to Talk to Your Kids About Natural Disaster for ways on how to help children cope with the aftermath of recent events.
