Annual Broadway BIA Meeting Luncheon

Join the Broadway BIA Board to hear about 2017 accomplishments, upcoming holiday activities, ask questions, and cast your vote for the 2018 officers. This luncheon is free for the first 25 ratepayers who register here. 

The luncheon will be held at Seattle Central College's One World Cafe on Tuesday, October 17th between 11:00 am - 12:30 pm.

Registration: 11:00 am

Program: 11:45 am
Officer vote: 12:00 pm
Closing comments: 12:20 pm


Your Ratepayer Dollars Hard at Work:

The Broadway BIA has a contract with Recology StreetScapes to sweep the sidewalks, remove graffiti,  bio -hazards and posters 7 days a week.

Please contact customer service 24/7 at  [email protected]   or call   (206) 859-6700 to report graffiti, illegal dumping, sharps and biohazards.  Graffiti should be removed within 24 hours and sharps and biohazards will be removed in three hours.

Hilloween

Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce's  8th annual Hilloween event is a one-day community celebration on Broadway and in the Pike-Pine corridor on Saturday, October 28th.  

The indoor carnival returns this year with a fun Circus theme featuring live performances, carnival games and fun activities!  The carnival concludes with our traditional costume parade led by a marching band and trick-or-treating on Broadway,  Pike and Pine.

Zombie Crawl

Put on your best Zombie duds and enjoy $5 food + drink (21+) specials at participating bars and restaurants on Thursday, October 26th!

Zombies will gather at REDHOOK BREWLAB at dusk to collect their maps and enjoy a SCREAMING GOOD DEAL before dispersing to the streets for a zomb-i-fied tour of Capitol Hill bars and restaurants.   The creepy crawl wraps with ZOMBIE TRIVIA at GRIM's where Zombies will put their brains together to win prizes and enjoy more food + drink specials!

Incredible Feast 2017!

There are a number of public and private resources in our neighborhood that can provide treatment, shelter, and meals to those in need.   We've compiled them into a downloadable/printable document here. Please share this list with your neighbors, friends, and co-workers.

If you see someone in non-emergency distress, the  Capitol Hill Metropolitan Improvement District Outreach (MID) team operates from 8:30 AM-5:00 PM. Call  (206) 973-1835.

See litter, illegal dumping, graffiti or sharps? Download the Find it Fix it app .
This app is a new platform to report a variety of issues to the City of Seattle. It is available for  Android  and  iOS .

Need to report a crime? The Seattle Police Department is here to help:
  • Emergencies: If you have just seen or experienced a crime, or one is in progress, call 9-1-1 immediately.
  • Non-emergencies: If the crime happened a while ago and there is no direct danger to you or another person, please call the police non-emergency line at  (206) 625-5011 or submit a report online.
  • You can also call the non-emergency line and ask for a welfare check if you see someone who needs help
  • Follow SPD Tweets by Beat to receive updates in your "beat."
Smell smoke or need to report a fire?
The mission of the Seattle Fire Department is to save lives and protect property:
