  • Betrayal at the House on the Hill Wednesday, November 2;  5:30 - 7:30pm. Gamers and strategy board-game enthusiasts - try out a new game at the Library, registration is required. For ages 16 +.
  • Teen Substance Misuse: What YOU Should Know Tuesday, November 15; 6:30 - 8:30pm. Is your child at risk for substance misuse? Are they using now? What are the warning signs? This workshop is designed to answer those questions and more. Topics covered will include vaping, synthetic cannabinoids, inhalants, marijuana, prescription drugs, caffeine, over the counter drug misuse and opiates. Presented by Laurie Warnock, MPH, who currently chairs the Board of Trustees for a Drug Free NH and has been an EMT for 20 years. Open to all parents, caregivers, educators and concerned adults. Resources will be presented. Sponsored by Crispin's House Coalition for Youth.

Hungry for Pie? Wednesday, November 2; 6:30pm. Kids in 2nd - 5th grade: Mix, knead and roll as you learn to make pie crust from scratch. Registration is required.

Recipes & Reminiscing Friday, November 4; 10am. Share recipes and stories. Location: Parks & Rec Building, Mast Street. Registration is requested.

All Ages

Once Upon a Pie Baking Competition & Auction November 12; 6:30pm. This is a Friends of the Library fundraiser. Location: Stark Hall at 3 Church Street.
  • Entries should be delivered 11am - 1pm. Download & Print entry form.
  • At 6:30pm the public is welcome to taste ($2/slice) and bid on blue ribbon pies.

Seacoast Science Center

Seacoast Science Center
Just one of the passes that are part of the Museum Pass Program, sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Seacoast Science Center winter hours are November through mid-February on Saturday - Monday, 10am - 5pm.

Since the Goffstown Public Library has a membership to the Seacoast Science Center, library card holders can enjoy the Center seven days a week. With a two hour notice, they will open the Center Tuesday through Friday, 10am - 3pm, just for Goffstown Public Library cardholders who have reserved the pass for that day.
