“When you get to a place where you understand that love and belonging, your worthiness, is a birthright and not something you have to earn, anything is possible.” ~ Brené Brown
From childhood much of our behavior was shaped by seeking the approval of others. It’s how we learn our place in the world, but can be needlessly self-limiting if un-examined for too long. We may choose things like where to live, what to wear, and what to drive without realizing the influence of what we think others may think.
Growing in awareness of our unacknowledged habits of being concerned about what others think helps us mature into people guided by our own inner compasses. By growing in acceptance of who we are, and by being bold enough to show ourselves to the world, we find a real freedom. When we can risk being vulnerable we become more resilient and better able to take life as it comes.
Come to learn about resilience and vulnerability: how they interconnect, and how they can open life’s possibilities. Faith Curtis is a professional coach, group facilitator and motivational speaker whose clients have included major corporations and non-profit organizations.
Registration is $25 when received by January 13, $30 thereafter.
Please register by January 20.
Light refreshments and materials are included.
Payment in full is due prior to arrival.
