Back to School Celebration
This
Sunday, August 27th is a great time to invite family to church to celebrate our children.
10:15 Backpack Blessing
Preschoolers (3-5 year olds) through 5th graders
bring your backpacks and meet us in the Family Life
Center (gym) so you can be blessed for the school
year. Also, there will be yummy treats!
10:45 Service
All children check-in and go to your usual
Sunday school class or to the Sanctuary. Teachers will then lead kids into the Sanctuary for a special blessing and promotion to the next class. Parents you will pick your kids up in their new classrooms. Please ask ask at the check-in desk when signing in if you are unsure which class that is.
Family Event
SERVICE IN THE PARK
Sunday, September 17th at 11:00 am
Join us at Viking Park. We will have church service (no children's ministry) so bring your own chair. Then following we will have a potluck (sign up coming soon) and games.
