Stay up to date!
From Sunday:
"The Kingdom is Like a Shrewd Manager"

In this parable, the debt was forgiven.  So, we can say that the Torah, the will of God, is restored not by the master who only goes along with what the manager has done, nor by the manager who was really saving his own skin. Jesus is saying the same thing he has been teaching in all his parables.  He is talking about how there is really no room for the rich and the poor.  He is saying that we should all share what we have so that all may live together in peace.

This is Jesus telling the story of how the elites carry out their business and how it is really against God's will. This is the story of how God's will gets accomplished, in spite of all the characters in the story.

En Agape',
Rev. Michael Weeks
