Dear North Community Catholic School Families:

Happy Veterans Day to all in our school community who have served our country!  We are grateful to you for your service!

On Monday our students in grades 5-8 attended a very special event.  Sister Nancy Murray (who happens to be actor Bill Murray's sister) presented her one woman show about the life of St. Catherine of Siena.  The students traveled to our fellow sponsoring parish, St. Catherine of Siena, for the presentation.  The event was interactive, and the students learned a great deal about this great saint.  Thank you very much to St. Catherine of Siena parish for providing this opportunity for the students at the MBS and RC campuses!

After two short weeks, we have a full week of school next week.  On Monday at 1:00 p.m. we welcome Father Roy Lee.  Father will be here to present to all of our students in honor of National Black Catholic History Month which is the month of November.  Father Lee is visiting our diocese from the Archdiocese of Atlanta. If you would like to attend this event, it will be in the church.

Saturday evening our Most Blessed Sacrament Boy Scout Troop is hosting a spaghetti dinner beginning at 5:00 in the gym.  Take a night off from cooking and come over to support our Boy Scouts of Troop 88!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Peace and Blessings,
Mrs. Beth Strbik
Principal

SCRIP
Shopping for groceries, filling the tank with gas, eating at a favorite restaurant....These routine things we do every week have proven to be a great way for Blessed Sacrament parents to shave off money from their child's tuition.  You purchase gift cards or certificates from places you shop at anyway and the discount goes back to your child's tuition.  More than 200 local businesses participate in the SCRIP program.  Families who purchase the certificates can designate that their portion be applied to their tuition bill.  To purchase SCRIP, contact Katie at [email protected] or phone her at 419-438-0476.
