Detailed Minnesota Homeless Study Results Released
Homelessness in Minnesota decreased for the first time in a decade, according to newly released results of the 2015 Minnesota Homeless Study.

Key findings from the study:
  • 9,312 homeless adults, youth, and children were counted on the night of the survey.
  • Young people are most at risk of experiencing homelessness.
  • African Americans and American Indians also face a disproportionate risk of homelessness.
  • The number of homeless adults age 55 and older increased, but they are still the least likely to be homeless.
