A note from the President...

November is a month of thanks, a month of remembrance, and a month of civic transformation.

Thanksgiving is a time when we have the opportunity to reflect on our blessings - faith, health, happiness, family and friends. And, it is a time to use our gifts and come together to help one another, our community, and our world. At Midland, students are using their gifts to enhance campus life and make a difference in the community through a number of activities including #GivingTuesday, a day dedicated to global giving.

On Veterans Day, students had the opportunity to hear from Commander Keith Lyons of the National Guard. He spoke about the balancing act between a family career, a civilian career, and a military career. This was also a time of reflection for all the men and women whose dedication and service has helped preserve the freedoms we appreciate in this country.

As we continue to follow the changes nationwide, Midland remains a place where diversity, inclusion, and freedom of speech are all appreciated. We respect and value one another, and unite for the greater good.

As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, let us be thankful for one another and for our university. I am humbled by your continued support for Midland University which provides countless opportunities for students. May you have a joyous and peaceful Thanksgiving and be blessed during this holiday season.

Before Jarjour began Midland University's  hybrid MBA  program , he was already a hardworking young executive with a travel schedule that kept him too busy for full-time school, even though he knew he needed it. By finding the right program for him, he hoped to be able to grow his skills and experience, while fitting school into his demanding schedule.
