The Brighton Township property has been marketed as available off and on for years since the company moved its headquarters to Airside Business Park more than 15 years ago. As Argo AI's new LiDAR-topped Ford Fusion Hybrid sedans begin hitting the streets of Pittsburgh, the company also has found a place to store them.

Sources familiar with the plan indicate that Argo AI has reach a deal to lease the cinderblock structure at 2401 Penn Ave. The site, best known as the former location of the Pittsburgh Public Market, will be used as a new garage for Argo AI, a startup that Ford Motor Co. has pledged a $1 billion investment in its quest to bring autonomous vehicle technology to its cars ... Topgolf, a golf-themed entertainment destination, has closed on buying property at the Newbury Market master plan development in South Fayette and expects to begin construction soon.

The Dallas-based company, which operates more than 40 complexes, mostly in the U.S., has closed on purchasing a 12.26-acre plot at Newbury for $7.425 million, according to Tommy McCafferty, director of retail brokerage for Hanna Commercial Real Estate, who represented TopGolf in the deal with Kevin Langholz in conjunction with Dallas-based Retail Connection. ..  Read More.


Pittsburgh is drawing companies into its urban core at more than twice the rate of its surrounding suburban office markets when measured by office square footage, according to new research by the Pittsburgh office of JLL.

An affiliate of Toronto-based Craft Development Corp. has closed on buying the former Hanlon-Gregory steel site in the 10th ward of Lawrenceville, a site of nearly three acres on which the company plans to build a 68-unit townhouse development.
