WORSHIP THIS SUNDAY
OUR PROGRAMS: SUNDAY OCTOBER 30, 2016
Each Sunday at First Universalist there are opportunities for people of all ages to worship, explore, be challenged, connect, and renew. Here's our schedule for this week (click the yellow links for more information):
10:30am - Worship &   Junior Youth Group
WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM YOUR CHURCH?
Tues or Wed, once per month
Families-In-Action
While adults would either assist with dinner at the Preble Street Soup Kitchen (Tuesdays) or participate in the English Conversation Circles with refugees and asylum-seekers (Wednesdays), children would come to First Universalist to engage in justice work projects with staff, volunteers, and senior youth.
Weekly or semi-weekly, TBD
Our Whole Lives for Adults
Using values, communication skills, and spirituality as starting points, this Our Whole Lives program explores sexuality issues for adults of all ages. Participating builds understanding of healthy sexual relationships and affirms diversity. Learn more about the OWL program.

Want to see either of these programs offered? We need 10 families for Families-In-Action or 10 adults for Adult OWL in order to make this work. Email Gwen Matthews, Program Assistant, to RSVP.
FIRST EDITION: FINANCIAL TIMES OF FIRST U
Documents leaked from the Stewardship Committee at First Universalist contain  surprising revelations about the Hannaford card program and disagreements between committee members regarding the use of a faux-newspaper as a method on communication.
CARE FOR A CUP OF COFFEE HOUR?
We're relying on you - yes, you! - to make coffee hour happen. Your group, committee, or council is signed up to host coffee hour twice this year. Remember that you will need: two or more people, to arrive an hour before worship begins, and to stay to clean up after.
WHO YOU GONNA CALL?
Gail Mills for general inquiries, financial matters, and building rentals.
Rev. Jennifer Emrich for worship, spiritual and pastoral concerns, community partnerships, and social justice initiatives.
Gwen Matthews for religious education and exploration, membership, and communications.
Jonathan Corey for worship music and choir.
