April 17: Free Documentary Screening, Chasing Ice! Community Discussion on Global Warming

I'm pleased to be a speaker and panelist at an important community discussion on global warming Thursday, April 17 at the Rialto Cinema El Cerrito.

This free event includes a screening of Chasing Ice,

an award-winning documentary on the impact of global warning on the world's ice packs and glaciers. The film is beautiful and eye-opening. See a trailer here.

As a member of the California Air Resources Board and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District Board, I'm committed to advancing policy that cuts global warming. After the screening, I'll be leading a panel discussion on state and local efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, including California's landmark legislation AB32.

I hope to see you there.
