Since 1917, MCHS has provided hope, love and safety to Michigan's most vulnerable children through a multitude of programs and services for children and families throughout southeast Michigan.

Methodist Children's
Home Society is a licensed private, non-sectarian child placing agency, as well as
a 501c3 non-profit. MCHS helps some of Michigan's most fragile children find
safety, hope, love and comfort.
Through their residential program, educational & clinical services, transitional living, foster care and adoption programs, they provide for and advocate on behalf of victims of child abuse and neglect. Methodist Children's Home Society houses and cares for boys and young men, finds safe havens and forever families for children in Southeast Michigan through foster care and adoption, and helps youth age out of foster care and become healthy young adults.
