Frisco Chamber Honors Veterans
The Frisco Chamber of Commerce honored veterans in business during its monthly Ambassador Luncheon on Wednesday, November 2, 2016.

Frisco Mayor Pro Tem Will Sowell, a veteran, spoke about the need for local businesses to hire veterans for their unique skill set. He discussed some of the common challenges veterans face when transitioning into the workforce. Frisco Chamber Ambassadors and members gathered for a special discussion led by Sowell. He talked about his experiences serving with the U.S. Marine Corps directly out of high school. Read More...

Cowboys Owner To Help Startups at The Star
The family of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is helping launch a business incubator aimed at giving a boost to early-stage companies in the fields of technology, sports and entertainment.

The Jones family, along with Rob Wechsler, chief executive and founder of Blue Star Sports, on Monday announced the creation of the Blue Star Accelerator, a "first of its kind accelerator and investment venture for early stage businesses " that will be housed at The Star, the Dallas Cowboys headquarters in Frisco. Read More...



Fitness Center Worthy of America's Team Opens Soon at Frisco's Star
You're one step closer to being able to work out like a Dallas Cowboy, thanks to a world-class fitness center opening in February 2017 at the new Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters at the Star in Frisco.

The new facility, called Cowboys Fit, was developed in partnership with Mark Mastrov, the founder of 24 Hour Fitness, and it will be a three-story health and fitness center spanning more than 60,000 square feet. It promises to be more than your everyday gym experience, as it will offer all aspects of fitness and nutrition in the same building. This includes a training staff of former NFL players and cheerleaders, boutique-style classes, a recovery lounge, and state-of-the-art technology. Read More...
