Deferred Compensation Terms

Commingled Fund  a diversified portfolio of stocks and/or bonds managed by a professional money manager. Mutual funds are generally intended for retail investors and are regulated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Commingled funds are available to institutional investors and are regulated by state banking regulators. The IRS sets limits for how much money a person can defer into their retirement savings accounts. For 2017, the IRS has chosen to leave the deferral limits unchanged.
