Ground Breaking

The Route 66 Landing held a ground breaking celebration as the remodeling begins on the historic Robinson Building.  The building will be converted into 18 apartments for people 55 and older.  They will also be building single family homes in the downtown area.

Project Pride
Larco Enterprises was recognized with the Project Pride Award for their new event center Venue 29.  The building has already been host to several dinners including the Miami Arts and Humanities Council, Miami FFA, and they will be hosting a refreshment area during Girls' Night Out on Thursday, December 8.

Ribbon Cuttings

Heartland Plaza recently celebrated the completion of their renovation project.  The beautiful facility hosted a Veterans' Day event for their residents and guests which included the presentation of the colors, a 21 gun salute, and the playing of the national anthem by the American Legion.

The INTEGRIS Gift Gallery hosted their annual Holiday Open House last week.  In addition to the great sales and refreshments, they also honored volunteer Sparkle Hale.  Sparkle has retired from the hospital auxiliary after 40 years of service.
