Little Home Bird
Miss Tina recommends Little Home Bird by Jo Empson

Little Home Bird, by author/illustrator Jo Empson, is about a little bird who loves his home. He loves looking at his favorite view, and sitting on his favorite branch among many other things. His warm weather home is very special to him, one that he does not want to leave. As the weather starts to get colder, it is time for Little Bird to fly south to his winter home. Little Bird decides to take many of his favorite things along and the story continues about how he must let them go one by one. The story ends when Little Bird is able to create a winter home that he loves just as much as his warm weather home. The colorful illustrations capture the warmth and love that this book portrays.
