Legislative Conference Announcement
Statewide Legislative Conference and Advocacy Day
February 1-2, 2016
Raising our voice in the Capitol is essential to ensure that lawmakers understand the importance of our programs to older adults in their districts.

The Aging Services network will share their State budget positions with Legislators and other decision-makers in Albany on Monday, February 1 and Tuesday, February 2, 2016. We encourage everyone in the aging network to join us for "Advocacy Day 2016" at the Empire State Plaza and in the halls of the State Capitol and Legislative Office Building (LOB).

The Association on Aging in NY, LiveOn NY and Lifespan have developed a $177 million comprehensive multi-year plan to help modernize New York's aging services network.  The plan seeks to ensure an increasing number of older New Yorkers receive the services they need to remain independent.
