Keokuk's Comprehensive Plan

The City of Keokuk has contracted with the Southeast Iowa Regional Planning Commission (SEIRPC) to prepare a comprehensive plan that works for all our local stakeholders. The plan will provide guidance for decision makers by clearly laying out the community's priorities and vision for the future.  As the name implies, our comprehensive plan includes a variety of topics that influence all areas of Keokuk including population and demographics, housing, education, economic development, parks, arts and culture, infrastructure, transportation, public health, etc.

The timeline for completing the plan will stretch into 2017 as the steering committee compiles the necessary data and gathers input from citizens like you. The City of Keokuk and SEIRPC wants you to share your vision for the future of Keokuk by taking a brief survey  HERE.  Or pick up a paper copy at City Hall, Keokuk Public Library, Keokuk Waterworks, or Hy-Vee.
