2016 LP Investor Forums

The NAIC is kicking off the new year with an LP Roadshow February 4-5 in Chicago. The event will feature meetings with Exelon, Illinois Municipal, Illinois SURS, and Muller & Monroe with invited guests from Illinois Teachers, Chicago Teachers, and SEIU who will discuss their investment strategies and Diverse and Emerging Managers programs. Other LP Roadshows will follow later in the year.

Starting this month, the NAIC website will feature custom content that will keep members apprised of the latest compliance-related developments. Provided by ICSGroup, a boutique compliance firm that provides regulatory compliance services, the first installment discusses such compliance issues as Cybersecurity, Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer compliance programs, Exempt Reporting Advisors, and more.

New MainStream Capital announces Luis Gonzalez has joined the firm as a Managing Director. Gonzalez will be principally responsible for the firm’s healthcare services investments. Prior to joining NMS, Gonzalez was a Managing Director at MBF Healthcare Partners, where he specialized in all aspects of private equity investing in healthcare services companies nationwide. Gonzalez brings over 15 years of lower middle market private equity and M&A experience to NMS and has successfully completed numerous buyout and growth equity investments. He previously served on the Boards of several MBF portfolio companies. Earlier in his career, Mr. Gonzalez spent time at Raymond James & Associates and Deloitte.
