Rochester, NY - Digital Rochester is hosting Ransomware: Information & Prevention on Thursday, November 17 at Locust Hill Country Club. Speakers will cover what individuals and organizations need to know about Ransomware, as well as how to protect against and respond to attacks.

Ransomware is a type of malware that infects computer systems, restricting access to those systems and data until a ransom is paid. It is quickly becoming a global phenomenon, impacting individuals and businesses including healthcare facilities and hospitals worldwide. This year has seen a large increase in the number and complexity of incidents, with some losses running into hundreds and millions of dollars.
