Jim at the 2016 Kamloops Uke Fest!
Jim D'Ville delighted us in 2016, showing us how to listen for the emotions behind the chords and had us playing, laughing and learning a lot all at the same time!

Jane & Mark kept our fingers moving and had us all
ukestrating different parts.     Amazing and so much fun!
This year Mark and Jane will be sharing their skills in a different way,
by teaching ukestration in some separate workshops at different levels.

Manitoba Hal Brolund has forged an international reputation for engaging performance, storytelling and masterful ukulele playing. His strong foundation in American roots / blues music, confident expressive vocals, and distinctive original music have made him an in-demand workshop leader at festivals and concerts in Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia.

The Sorrento Centre is our new venue for our 2017 Festival!  This means we will all get to be together for the whole weekend, which is fabulous!  The Sorrento Centre is a beautiful spot with everything we could ask for!  It has a wide variety of accommodations, something for everyone, from RV spots, tenting, cabanas, rooms in the lodge and apartments, all at very economical rates!  Add to that catered meals, freshly prepared on site with many of their own ingredients grown on their organic farm.  All this in a beautiful setting with meeting spaces both indoors and out, in the lovely countryside by Shuswap Lake.    Registration will be limited to 140 people to ensure small classes and a friendly and fun atmosphere!
In 2017 the Festival will cater to different levels of players, all the way from brand new beginners, to experienced beginners, and intermediate/advanced.  That means everyone will have some decisions to make, in terms of which workshops they would like to attend!   Tough choices with so many great instructors!!
We know you'll find the perfect blend!
