Grow Home Ownership

Your SAR submitted a question for our Member in Congress to SpokaneTalksOnline, this week.

U.S. Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers responded to host Kent Adams when he asked this questionIndividual ownership of our country - private property - is a founding principle of our nation.  We are more inclined to care about what we own, less about what we borrow or rent.  How can we reverse the widening gap between housing haves and have-nots, and grow home ownership in the United States?

Spokane County Home Sales Slow

The Spokesman-Review photo

Spokane County's hot residential real estate market cooled slightly in July.

The Spokane Association of Realtors reported that 757 single-family homes on less than 1 acre sold last month.

Spokane County home sales set a monthly record in June, with 944 properties trading hands. Though the number of sales dipped in July, homes sales for the month were still 6.5 percent above the sales volume for July 2016.
