UPCOMING
AUGUST 30 | Our Monthly Healing Service  will be held Wednesday, August 30, at 6:00 p.m. Among the special liturgies in our Book of Common Prayer is a service of healing, intended to be shared by those who seek healing and wholeness in their own lives or on behalf of those whom they hold in prayer.  We hold a weekly healing service on Thursdays at noon in our Chapel, but knowing that is a difficult time for many to attend, we have begun offering a healing service on the last Wednesday night of the month, at 6:00 pm, in the Chancel (where the choir sits in the Nave). At all times, and perhaps especially in this interim season of our parish life, it is appropriate to pray for the healing of what troubles us in mind, body, or spirit.  All are welcome to attend this brief service that will include Holy Eucharist.
SEPTEMBER 6 | Women's Book Study  will begin meeting every Wednesday night in St. Francis Hall on Wednesday, September 6.  We gather at 5:30 pm for refreshments and hold our book discussion from 6:00-7:00 pm.  Our first book is  The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks,  by Rebecca Skloot.  Books are available at Lemuria and for a 10%  discount if you tell them it is for our study group!  All women are welcome!
