Punch on the Porch -

Transition Team: Members of the Transition Team will be available for further conversation at Punch on the Porch following both the 8:30 and 11:00 services.
Our congregation's generous financial support enables UPC's witness and ministry in the world. This Spring that generosity expanded to include the Legacy Campaign, allowing us to finish Dunham Hall and send Bob and Marla Dunham into retirement well-celebrated. However, the day-to-day expenses of building maintenance, staff salaries, youth and children's programming, and support of the church's mission partners depend on regular offerings to the church's operating budget, which often dwindle in the summer. As you are able to maintain your regular offering through these busy months, please know that the church is grateful for your support of our shared work.

Host Punch on the Porch: After the 8:30 or 11:00 a.m. worship service on the portico on Sundays through September 3.

We Choose Welcome:
Click here to sign up for the Refugee Support Team, a list of volunteers to perform discreet jobs on an as-needed basis (e.g., providing transportation to a doctor's appointment). The team will support the activities of
Refugee Community Partnership (RCP), a local refugee support organization.

Youth Choir: Sunday, August 27, 5:15-7:00 p.m, Fellowship Hall
Congregational Retreat: Friday, September 8 - Sunday, September 10, Montreat Conference Center, Montreat, NC; Final registration deadline is this Sunday, August 20.
We will gather on the third Sunday in September to accommodate the Congregational Retreat.
