Wetsuits are not required but are recommended. If you are still in need of a wetsuit, there is still time to get one from XTERRA.

The Race Tune includes the Following Services: Cost for race participants is $69, regular price is $89:

o Frame & Fork Safety Inspection
o Drivetrain Component wear inspection & Cable/Housing Inspection
o Bearing Wear Inspection (Wheel Bearings/Bottom Bracket/Headset/Pulley Wheels/Pedals)
o Gear Adjust and Tune
o Brake Adjust
o Headset/Bottom Bracket Adjust
o Full Bike Bolt Torque Check and Adjustment to specs with Velofix Torque Wrenches
o Post Service Test Ride
o Full Drivetrain "Strip, Soak and Scrub" off bike and lubrication
o Frame Clean and Polish
o Full Wheel Truing

Race Tune Ups use high end grease from Dualco for the lowest resistance.

Velofix also offers a complete line of Race services to get your bike race ready: 
-Gluing Tubulars
-Truing carbon race wheels
-Installing race wheels and changing cassette
-Using the most optimum Lube on your chain for race day conditions

You can pick up all registration materials, including race bib, t-shirt and goody bag on race day, All triathlon participants will get a tech shirt and finisher's medal (all Kids Duathlon participants get a standard cotton shirt).

  • Sunday, November 20 (race-day) starting at 6:00am
    Race-Day Packet Pick-Up/Registration. Registration will be available, so if you have friends or family that have not registered yet, they can still register on race day! 

    *Registration/packet pickup for the Kids Du will take place in the picnic area near the kids start line next to the main parking area.

1.  All athletes are required to show a photo ID. NO ID, NO RACE, NO EXCEPTIONS. Every single participant, including relay participants, must have a photo ID. Youth athletes without an ID must be accompanied by a parent/guardian with a photo ID.  Annual members are required to bring their membership card every time they compete in a USAT sanctioned event. If their card has been lost, they can download and print out a temporary one online from USAT (click here) .
 
2.       Athletes may only pick up their own packets. Under no circumstances may an athlete pick up a packet for another person. A ll relay members must be present to receive the packet, or split up the relay packet for each participant.
 
3.       If an athlete does not bring a photo ID to packet pickup there are two options :
  • Go home to get it
  • Have someone email/text them a copy of their photo ID
  4.   If an athlete does not bring a USAT membership card to packet pickup there are three options :
  • Go home to get it
  • Find internet access where a temporary card can be printed
  • Purchase a one-day membership which can later be applied to a membership renewal by submitting a receipt of purchase

Parking
The event will take place at the South Shore of Bonelli Park in San Dimas, exit the 57 freeway at Via Verde, enter the Park and then follow signs for parking. 
 
 
Bonelli Park charges a $10/vehicle park entry fee; carpool when possible and have exact change to help speed up entry into the park.

Age Divisions & Awards

Age groups are 13-14, 15-17, 18-19, and then in 5 year increments starting at 20-24 going through 85+. Relays (male/female/mixed), Athena and Clydesdale's divisions will also receive awards.    

 

Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each division.
