Admissions continues with its #RUThankful campaign

Reinhardt University's Office of Admissions isn't shy talking about what its staffers are thankful for, as it has been shouting it daily across social media.

"This is our third year of doing this campaign," said director of admissions Lacey Satterfield. "We post a photo a day each day leading to Thanksgiving, and then have a group photo for Thanksgiving Day."

Using the hashtag #RUThankful, Admissions employees have been sharing their thankfulness with their social media followers.

"We try to keep the 'thankful fors' diverse so we can tell a good Reinhardt story over the course of the 10 days that we do it," Satterfield said. "This year, we'll be able to tell about our new international student population growth, open house events, work-study program, athletics, the new nursing program and faculty mentors on campus." ... Spirit runs high at Reinhardt

School spirit at Reinhardt University has grown into something more than just showing up at sporting events. It's about supporting one another on and off the field.  This unifying force of school spirit creates not only a support system but a sense of family, as well.

School spirit is not something that can be created by just having a good sports team that win games and championships. School spirit is created when athletes show pride wherever they are and in whatever they do. This sense of pride can be shown by supporting fellow athletes or by going to student events around campus. When an athlete goes out and shows support for other sports or people, it shows they actually care about what goes on around campus and makes others want to come out and show the same support. ...  Read More
