Qualicum Beach has lost one of tis most colourful characters, with the passing of Hilda Pearce.

She championed, with passion and vigour, not only the business community, but also te greater community at large. Hilda was a real entrepeneur, establishing numerous businesses spanning the island, including those here in Qualicum Beach and Parksville. At times bkunt and direct, Hilda also revealed a soft and generous heart for those who     knew her well.

She worked tirelessly over many years for the good of our community and was always ready to share her knowledge and experience with others.

     Rest in Peace, Hilda
