Updated Website Showcases Water Quality
Data
The Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission (ORSANCO) released an updated website last week. The updated website showcases Ohio River water quality data that is available to the public as well as information about ORSANCO and its activities within the Ohio River Basin. The website address remains www.orsanco.org.
ORSANCO publishes water quality data that is collected during its routine Ohio River monitoring programs. The updated website improves the ability to download this data using simple, well marked buttons. Some of the available data for the Ohio River includes bacteria and nutrients. The data is published as part of ORSANCO's routine continuous monitoring programs.
ORSANCO, headquartered in Cincinnati, OH, is the water pollution control agency for the Ohio River representing Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. The federal government is also represented.
