Blessing of Backpacks THIS Sunday!
Sunday, August 20, 8:15 and
10:00 a.m. worship
This Sunday, during both morning worship services, Dr. Jones will bless children's backpacks, helping launch the school year with God's abundant blessings plus the love and support of our church family. Children of all ages (not just young ones) are encouraged to bring their backpack to worship and come forward during the Time With Children to have their backpack blessed. We will present the filled backpacks to representatives of UrbanPromise, Shortlidge, Highlands and EastSide Charter elementary schools, whom you'll have an opportunity to meet informally during the Ice Cream Social after worship. This is an event you won't want to miss!

Think of the effect Westminster could have in helping to combat violence in our city if each us played even a small part in this essential work!
