LEAF DUMP CLEAN-UP IS OUR PRIORITY

The past 2 weeks have been very challenging as many trees have dropped their leaves and they have continued to pile up despite our non-stop clean-up efforts. The good news is, that the end is in sight.

Leaf removal is challenging when leaves are falling at their fastest pace as they recently have been. It is sometimes difficult to see if we were even at a site, since the new leaf-drop covers up our clean-up work within hours. Our focus during this period in the Fall is to focus on bulk collection. A thorough clean-up while the leaves are still falling is a wasted effort. When the main leaf-fall is complete, we concentrate on a more detailed and thorough collection effort.

The current warm weather is encouraging continued lawn growth but, the saturated soil conditions often prohibits mowing. We want avoid damaging lawns. The heavy rain over the past weekend re-saturated the soil and we don't want to damage lawns so mowing will wait until the ground sufficiently dries out. Consequently, we may see some lawns get a bit shaggy. Besides, there are plenty of leaves to pick up right now, which takes priority anyway. We will get some dry weather, maybe not until December, and will refocus on mowing when we can do so without rutting or damaging your lawn.
