In Iraq until March 2017

An Aerial Vehicle Company based out of Fort Hood, currently on their second deployment in Iraq, is in need of personal items for their soldiers. The unit consists of 25 males and 5 females. Items needed are as follows:
  • Socks, boot socks (black or green), ankle socks (white of black), t-shirts (medium to XL), boxers (plain or colored, medium to XL).
  • Hot sauce / seasoning - Siracha, Tapatio, Chipotle - plastic container.
  • Baby wipes. (Showers don't work well, sometimes not at all).
  • Beef jerky - the bigger the better. Usually a better bargain buying one large than three small. They share.
  • Hard candy - lemon heads, hard candies that won't melt.
  • Pictures - they want pictures of yourself, the family, your community.
  • Personal care - antiperspirant, blue Gold Bond powder, tooth brushes, toothpaste, small soup, body wash, shaving cream, shower crocks because plastic flip flops break.
  • #1 - Drink powder. Propel works well, but everything is better than plain water. Protein mixes, Gatorade, drink packers, etc.
