The Angels Foundation
SWAT Academy has partnered with The Angels Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization seeking to raise money for kids and families with financial hardships to help support them with the costs associated with playing sports. Any sport!
Each year, SWAT hosts a poker tournament to raise money for the foundation, AND they are always seeking year-round donations. They are currently putting on a raffle, giving away two ProScan Internet Tablets. Each $10 donated will earn one ticket in the raffle. 
Because The Angels Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, each donation is 100% tax-deductible, so if you or your business is ever in need of a tax write-off please consider supporting this amazing cause! 100% of all donations will always be given to athletes that need financial assistance. 
Lastly, they have begun collecting for prize donations for the big tournament.  Anything from airline miles, vacation condo's, restaurant or retail gift certificates, autographed memorabilia, TV's - just about anything are appreciated, so please contact Marcos Ybanez if you can help in any way possible.  [email protected]

Private Lessons Available

Just a reminder - we do offer year-round private lessons for hitting, pitching, catching, and fielding for both baseball and softball players of all ages. If you would like to setup a lesson with one of our instructors please give us a call. We are open every day and love to help players master different skills with proper muscle memory that they can use in game situations.

Speed and Agility Classes Available in Private Lesson Format OR in a team based class  
 
We have certified trainers on staff to work with your player on speed, proper movement and conditioning.  Use your off-season to strengthen up.. Get bigger, faster, stronger!
 

Dear SWAT Supporters,

 

     We are quickly moving into the best part of the year - the upcoming holidays and the bad weather, when everyone starts practicing inside again! Please keep in mind that if you are planning to get some indoor practice time, it is best to call ahead and make reservations to ensure that we have space for your teams or players.

 

     As an Academy, we are a couple weeks away from being done with fall ball, and we just had our 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off/Trunk-or-Treat/Haunted Trail two weeks ago. We would like to say a huge "thank you" to all of the volunteers that made it possible! Our winner this year was Kevin Little, whose daughter plays on our 12U '05 Softball team! In second place was Melanie Berry, whose son plays on our 10U Baseball team. Last year's champion, Shane Bailey, took 3rd place. The prize for the best cornbread went to Carrie Schibbelhute, whose daughter also plays for our 12U '05 team! Congratulations to all! Here are a few pictures:

     We also have some great camps and clinics in the next few months, including a baseball pitching clinic with two pro level pitchers, a softball hitting camp with a head college softball coach, a speed school with an Olympian, and a softball camp with a former OSU pitcher who has coached more than a dozen national championship pitchers! Please check out all the info in the flyers attached below, and get registered ASAP!

Baseball/Softball  Catcher Camp
We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Just Block It to bring a camp specifically for catchers into Oklahoma! The organization is based out of Wichita and is led by Coach Mike Gehrer. The mission of the camp is to tea ch proper  stances, receiving, blocking, throwing mechanics, throwing to all bases, plays at the plate, bunt plays, pop flies, and, most importantly, how to lead the team. The camp will be on the 10th and 11th of December at SWAT this year! Please stay on the lookout for more info that we will release soon!

Indoor/Outdoor Turf for Sale!
