North Smithfield is expanding our efforts to support local businesses in our town.  We are in the process of creating a Business Directory on our website for all businesses in North Smithfield.  We would like to add your business to our directory.  To add your business, please follow the link below and submit the online form.  Your submission will be reviewed by the Town and added to the website.

Tax Bill Due Dates
Dear North Smithfield TaxPayer:
 
Your 2017 Excise Tax Bill (Motor Vehicles) has been mailed out later than usual due to the delay of the State of Rhode Island budget adoption. Due to this delay, the due date for your first payment of your motor vehicle tax is being granted a grace period until August 31, 2017. Your bill will still show a due date of 8/15/17 but interest won't be charged as long as the first payment is made by 8/31/17. Remaining payments are due as noted.

2 nd payment due 10-15-17
3 rd payment due 01-15-18
4 th payment due 04-15-18
 
*Grace period only applies to first payment on motor vehicle tax bill

Real estate bills and tangible personal property bills that were mailed on July 28 th are due as noted on those bills:
